Ok the last few updates have really changed this app - I got it originally to find out the names of the songs playing in the background of my TV shows. Now the last two revs have made it so that even if Shazam recognizes the show, it either doesnt list ALL the songs or it doesnt list ANY. Why? I mean you guys will list the songs from the stupid commercials but not the songs I actually want.

About 90% of the time that I launch Shazam, I do it to check lyrics of a song. The lyrics were displayed on the page as soon as Shazam identified the song - they werent always the correct lyrics, but they were there. It seems that theyve now either removed that feature outright, or theyve hidden it to the point where they may as well have removed it. I guess I wont be using Shazam anymore.

It works great on MOST songs,but on newer or less heard songs the app doesnt recognize the song and says to try again. For the most part very good however it could be a lot better.

Itll identify songs sans lyrics in under ten seconds; what more are you convoluted hipsters looking for?

Maybe add feature where you could "sing" or "hum" the melody of the song to find the song name. If you can do that...

You wont be able to identify a single song due to the fact that it takes forever to load the "social media" part of the app that noone uses

Probably 7 times out of 10 I try and use Shazam it tells me Im offline? Even though I have 5 bars of LTE available...whats that all about? Then I just delete and ask Siri "who sings this song" and she tells me right away, Shazam is just terrible and way too frustrating to keep on my phone.

I dont understand why this error pops up. I have cellular data and wifi and both are always turned on and connected (except for wifi if Im out). Fix this!

I just want to pull my hair out. This app stinks!!!!! Couldnt even find the basic songs.

I hate this. I hate it so much. Ive been searching for one goddamn song for half and hour and guess what, I cant find it. Yeah, great.

If you look at the bars, you see that it has a lot of negative reviews. But it isnt all that bad! It matches the names of shows, movies, and songs. Plus it gives you an option to go to Spotify to put that song on your playlist. It also keeps history so if you want to know the name of that song you shazamed, you can just go to your history. Also if your offline itll retry the same Shazam when youre online. Overall, its a great app. Get it!

At first I didnt know how to do this but then I heard a song I loved and I wanted to know the name so I turned on sashzam and it showed the singer and everything
