It kept telling me to get closer when my phone was practically a piece of the speaker, in other words it doesnt work.

This is the BEST app ever for music fans that gave no clue what a song is, or who the artist is. THANK YOU!!!

Overall, the app is very useful, however, Id love to see Touch ID security added, so I dont have to manually enter a password to access it.

Every time it gets more bloated. It takes more time to open and shows a bunch of useless stuff. Better to just ask Siri what song is playing. To see your history, just go to iTunes app and click on the top right icon.

Their needs to be a way to search for songs in the my Shazam section just like their was. That search bar needs to come back to the my Shazam section of the Shazam app just like it was before.

Siri was able to recognize a song playing on the radio just now. IT then suggested I download this app from the Apple iTunes Store. Previously I spent money on both the paid upgrade for removal of adds, both through the original app and then their new encore version. Either way, the free version must be the best one since thats where Siri gets her music. I wonder what sort of royalties it has to pay.. This is awesome !

This works fine but there are other services that dont put any limits on the number of songs you can identify per month.

I was on of the first people to download and promote use of this app several years ago. It did one thing very well and very fast; tell you the name of the song playing. Every time I open the app now I have to clear my screen of all the popup ads that hijack my phone or try to get me to sign up for some monthly music service before I can actually Shazam anything anymore. I have missed out on many songs because it now ed takes too long to use the app for the one thing its supposed to do. Also, it seems like it is loaded up with more and more junk every time I use it. This used to be such a great app and now its completely worthless. BTW, I will NEVER buy any product from ANY Advertiser that Jams their ads down my throat and disrupts use of any device. You just fired yourself. Deleting this App as of 4/23/16

For starters theres the homepage which auto subscribes you to artists you Shazam, why would they introduce the homepage and the second superfluous feature is something I still cannot wrap my head around. Also in previous versions you could listen to the preview and go through other songs. However, this version youre stuck in the song your previewing. One more thing that really grinds my gears is what Im watching TV and I hear a good song in an ad but I would like to see them but instead it shows me the program Im watching. Hello I already know what Im watching!! Update April 2016: Now theyve taken away the ability to search songs that you have just Shazamed

With a bit of background noise turned off, it found the music I was looking for! Amazing app!

Why did you remove the locations of where a song was "shazamed". It was very helpful.

This is a great app. Very useful. Has almost a 100% match rate. Is nice how Apple Music has been integrated, it would be very cool if Rhapsody was also included on the integration. That is the only reason why I do not give 5 Starts. Other than that app works very good. Makes you discover new songs every time you use it. Love it!!!
